Spire Eater privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
Spire Eater is a free puzzle game made by Tuan Nguyen, an individual developer. This page says what the game keeps about you and where it goes.
What the game keeps
The game saves your progress, settings and power-ups, and a player code made at random. All of this stays on your device. The game has no accounts and asks for no name, email, contacts, location or photos.
What the game sends
The game has no analytics, and the browser and Windows versions send nothing over the internet.
Ads in the iPhone app
From version 1.1, the iPhone app can show one ad, and only when you ask for it: when you run out of hearts, you can watch a video ad for three more hearts, or go back one level for free. The game shows no other ads.
The ad comes from Google AdMob. When the app loads an ad, Google's software on your phone sends Google your IP address, your device type and settings, and how you interact with the ad. Google uses this to choose and measure the ad and to stop fraud. Google's own policy covers this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The app asks before Google can use your phone's advertising identifier to show ads that match your interests. If you say no, you still get ads, but they are not based on what you do in other apps. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app also shows Google's consent form first. You can change your answer later in your phone's Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking.
If you play in a web browser, the website that serves the game sees the usual request details any website sees, such as your IP address and browser. The site at towerclimb.tuanopoly.com runs on Cloudflare, which keeps these logs for a few days under its own policy. If you play on itch.io, itch.io's policy covers its site.
If you write to us
The Help button in Settings opens your own mail app, with your player code in the subject. We keep your email only to answer you, and we never share it or sell it. Ask us and we delete it.
How to delete your data
Uninstall the app, or in a web browser clear the site's data. That removes your save for good.
Children
Spire Eater is made for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and the game itself collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
